The Khula Story
In 2019, our journey began with the establishment of Lifting Dreams, a registered non-profit dedicated to uplifting underprivileged communities through educational support. Recognizing the prevalent issue of hunger among the children we served, we took it upon ourselves to find a solution. In 2021, after extensive research, we introduced a pre-existing protein bar into our program, a fortified food product designed to meet their nutritional needs. However, reliant solely on donations, we sought a sustainable approach, leading us to develop our own products.
Following the successful launch of our KhulaBowl porridge in 2023, we received overwhelming support and positive feedback. Inspired by this momentum, we expanded our horizons with the creation of Khula Nutrition, empowering us to innovate further beyond the scope of Lifting Dreams. This marks just the beginning of our commitment to making a lasting impact on the communities we serve.

Our logistical maestro, effortlessly balances a full-time job with his integral role in driving the success of Lifting Dreams and Khulanutrition. With his boundless energy and unwavering dedication, Hein manages logistics and finances, ensuring smooth operations and impactful outcomes.
mikayla fallick
Our creative powerhouse, brings her innate design talent and UX/UI expertise to the forefront of our communications and branding efforts. Alongside Hein, she spearheads the Lifting Dreams program, infusing it with innovation and vision. Mikayla's passion for design and community empowerment is at the heart of our mission.
